Privacy policy
Effective 2026-08-25. This policy explains how BookARestroom, operated by Brian Higdon, sole proprietor (“we”), handles information on bookarestroom.com.
A rental brief can include your name, phone number, optional email, market, delivery ZIP, date, rental duration, project type, headcount, restroom setup, and any site-access or utility notes you add. A business inquiry can include the business name, city, website, work email, inquiry type, and notes. Please do not submit financial-account, health, government-ID, or other sensitive information.
Cloudflare delivers and secures the site and processes standard request information such as IP address, timestamp, page, and browser details. Cloudflare Turnstile loads only on pages with a form and processes technical signals to distinguish people from automated abuse. We do not use advertising pixels, social-media trackers, or cross-site behavioral advertising.
When you use a BookARestroom website, call, or planning link, we record a first-party event with the date, event type, market, opaque listing token, and public destination label. It contains no cookie, raw IP address, phone number, email, form data, or user-agent string. These aggregate event records expire after approximately two years. Cloudflare may separately retain platform logs under its own policies.
Forms submit directly to BookARestroom at /api/leads. We validate the page origin, form fields, consent version, and Turnstile result; apply rate limits; and store an accepted record in a BookARestroom-only Cloudflare R2 bucket before requesting an email notification. The record includes a salted one-way hash of the submitting IP address when Cloudflare supplies one, not the raw address. Notifications are sent through Cloudflare Email Sending to our Microsoft 365 mailbox at contact@bookarestroom.com.
Today, rental briefs and business inquiries go only to BookARestroom. We use them to understand the request, reply when useful, handle a listing correction, or discuss a business inquiry. A rental brief is not sent to any business, and we do not sell it to data brokers, list compilers, lead aggregators, or advertisers. We may disclose information when required by law, to investigate fraud or abuse, or as part of a transfer of this property subject to this policy.
When you submit a rental brief and check the consent box, you agree that BookARestroom may call or text the number you provide about that request. No rental company receives that permission from this form. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Reply STOP to opt out of texts, ask the caller to stop, or email contact@bookarestroom.com. A business-inquiry checkbox permits us to email about that inquiry; it does not start a paid plan or authorize a charge.
Rental-brief, business-inquiry, notification, and failure records are configured to expire no later than five years after creation. This is a maximum retention period, not a promise to keep every record that long and not an immutable lock. We may delete records earlier when they are no longer needed, when you make a valid deletion request, or when law permits. We may retain limited evidence when reasonably necessary for fraud prevention, security, disputes, or legal obligations.
You may ask what personal information we hold about you, request a correction, or request deletion by emailing contact@bookarestroom.com with the phone number or email used. We may ask for information needed to verify the request. We do not charge for ordinary requests or require an account. Residents of jurisdictions with additional privacy rights may exercise them through the same address.
Business names, contact details, ratings, and review counts come from public sources. Business corrections and removals are free; use our business form or email us. Data is transmitted over HTTPS and held with reputable providers, but no system is perfectly secure. The site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
